The horror… the horror… Although mostly Apocalypse Now as really good, it loses points for being really slow, but most importantly it loses points for actually decapitating an ox on screen, totally fucking pointless, i get that it’s supposed to mirror the killing of Kurtz and the fact that we are aware it is a real ox is supposed to heighten the emotion we feel in the whole sequence but it’s just a really cheap way to do it.
